What treatment is available for anthrax?
The most common treatment for Anthrax is a 60-day antibiotic system. This treatment is usually with the drugs ciprofloxacin or doxycycline. What drug, or treatment you need depends on what type of Anthrax you have been infected with. Inhalation anthrax may not be able to be treated as in the last stages of the disease the bacteria has produced more toxins than the drugs will be able to eliminated.
What precautions can I take to avoid getting Anthrax?
Cutaneous Anthrax.
Avoid contact with anthrax getting into any open sores.
Inhalation Anthrax
Avoid breathing in the bacteria spores
Gastrointestinal Anthrax
